Rolling a Rectangular Block

Bloxorz Block Logic Puzzle is built around one deceptively simple action: rolling a rectangular block across a grid. The block is two squares long and one square wide, so its position changes depending on whether it lies flat or stands upright. A flat block covers two adjacent squares; an upright block occupies a single square. Every move tips the block in a new direction, which means the same input can produce very different results depending on the block's current orientation.

Reading the Grid Before You Move

Because the block tips rather than slides, each roll changes which squares it occupies. Players must track both the block's footprint and the grid's edges. Rolling too close to a gap or the outer boundary can send the block off the surface, ending the attempt. The square hole is the goal, but it only accepts the block when it lands upright and centered. That constraint turns every route into a sequence of orientation checks, not just a path from point A to point B.

Switches, Bridges, and Changing Layouts

Some levels introduce switches that open paths or bridges when the block presses them. These elements add a second layer of planning: the order in which you trigger switches can determine whether a route stays open long enough to use. Grid sizes and obstacle arrangements vary across levels, so the same rolling logic is applied to increasingly complex configurations. Early layouts teach the basics; later ones combine narrow paths, switch timing, and precise landing requirements.

Controls and Pace

Players use arrow keys on a keyboard or swipe gestures on touch devices to roll the block up, down, left, or right. There are no time limits, countdowns, or distractions. The game is designed for thoughtful play, and the clean visuals keep attention on the grid. Difficulty rises gradually, giving casual players and puzzle fans room to build spatial awareness at their own pace.
